We Redesigned a Real One-Page Wix Site With AI — Before & After
Most AI website demos are fiction: invent a fake business, generate a pretty page, applaud. This isn't that. A working public-relations consultant — twenty years in beauty and lifestyle PR, real clients like L'Oréal Paris, Jo Malone, and Dove — pointed DomainMagic's redesigner at her live one-page Wix site and pressed the button.
What came back is live in our gallery, and it's the most honest demo we can offer, because we didn't control the input. She did.
What the redesigner actually reads
The redesign mode visits your current site the way Google does: it fetches the public page, reads the real text, and extracts the facts — the business name, the services, the tagline, the client names, the contact email, the Instagram and LinkedIn URLs, even the photos your site already serves. It never sees your Wix account, your passwords, or your server. If a stranger's browser can read it, the redesigner can rebuild from it. Nothing else.
Then it applies one non-negotiable rule we call the faithfulness mandate: a redesign is a facelift, not a rebrand. Same business, same voice, same offer — executed better. The AI is explicitly forbidden from inventing services, renaming the company, or replacing a professional's real positioning with something it thinks sounds cooler.
Before: a one-page Wix site
Her original site was what most consultants have: a single page, template typography, anchor links pretending to be navigation, and her genuinely good content — that tagline, those client names — buried in a layout that didn't sell any of it.
After: five pages, her photos, her voice
One build produced:
- A five-page site — Home, About, Services, Brands, Contact — expanded from her one page, each in the same design system
- Her real photos, pulled from her own site and placed where they belong (a portrait on the About page, not stretched across a hero)
- Her tagline kept word-for-word — "Strategy at the core. Creativity at the heart." — because that's her positioning, not the AI's
- Her client names placed as credibility anchors in the hero subline
- Her real Instagram, LinkedIn, and email linked in the footer
- Typography chosen for her niche: a fashion-editorial serif paired with a clean geometric sans — a pairing you'd expect from a beauty-industry agency, not a template
Every redesign also generates an SEO report card — old site vs. new, side by side: title tag, meta description, H1 clarity, social preview image. The code improvements travel with the downloadable zip, so they take effect the moment the new site goes live on the real domain.
What it cost

The honest limitations
Fairness cuts both ways, so: the redesigner reads raw HTML, so JavaScript-only sites can come back thin. Generated art direction is strong, but a photographer's portfolio deserves its own photos everywhere (we pull your real ones where we find them).
